Can’t this wait?

Procrastination is funny.

A recent article prompted readers to share things they had not “gotten around to.” Here are a few examples:

  • A bathroom that began its redecoration twelve years ago is still not painted. Oh, that hurts!
  • In September, the Christmas tree is still up from the year before.
  • A reader bought a book called 52 Steps To Defeating Procrastination ten years ago and still hasn’t read it.
  • Someone lost a check for $7,500 and never got around to asking them to issue another one.

In the end, beating procrastination boils down to one thing.

Taking action.

You can do all the reading, Googling, and talking to friends, but if you don’t take action, nothing’s going to happen.

Indecision is costly. Exponentially costly.

Forget the unpainted bathroom. Forget the Christmas tree. Forget the book.

If you want a different future, take action today.
